2012 Landscape Gardens

SHOW GARDENS & OUTDOOR FEATURES

2012 promised some exciting new & established landscape design talent for visitors to take in at the Show & boy did it deliver! 

Returning to the Show after the success of winning Silver Show Garden in 2011, Bay Road Nursery, Semken Landscaping & Candeo Design created another award winning Show Garden "Surge".

Vivid Design brought together yet another gorgeous, interactive Outdoor Feature display for Oasis Horticulture & their range of plant life.

Phillip Johnson Landscapes & savewater! Alliance teamed up this year to create an awe-inspiring landscape with an educational element.

But the focus of the Show was on the two City of Melbourne Best in Show award winners of the Award of Excellence - Newcomer Marnie Lewis Design with "NORD" & the Tree & Shrub Growers of Victoria with "Home.Life".   

These plus many more talented designers took part in the Show this year, each battling it off for the chance to be crowned the Gold, Silver or Bronze winning designer for top Show Garden, the Ford Sustainability Award, the City of Melbourne Award of Excellence for Best in Show, the Royal Horticultural Society Comeadow Award, the Horticultural Media Association Best Use of Plant Life Award & Gold, Silver & Bronze Outdoor Feature design.
